Iridescent Shards come with player levels and buy unique perks in the Shrine of Secrets, plus original characters and their cosmetics in the store. Take 2,000 or 9,000, or any amount from 1,000 to 128,000, on your PC account.
In the Shrine a perk costs 2,000 shards for tier I, 4,000 for tier II and 6,000 for tier III, and it unlocks for all your Survivors or all your Killers. A recent original character costs 9,000, older ones 4,500 or 2,250.

3Is there a limit on how many shards I can hold?
No. Iridescent Shards have no wallet cap, so the whole amount lands on your balance.
Can I buy licensed characters with shards?
No. Shards buy original characters, the ones not tied to a film, a show or another game, and most of their cosmetics.
When does the Shrine of Secrets change?
Every Tuesday at 15:00 UTC, with four new unique perks. You find it in the Survivor and Killer menus.
