The ranked ladder has 25 ranks: Iron, Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond, Ascendant and Immortal, each with divisions 1, 2 and 3, then Radiant, the top 500 players of a region. Competitive unlocks at account level 20.
From Iron to Ascendant, every division is 100 RR. Immortal has no such cap: the RR thresholds for Immortal 2, Immortal 3 and Radiant differ by region.
Valorant asks for five placement matches at a season start (Act 1, January) and at mid-season (Act 4, June), and one in the other acts.
