Kept as items, they are not lost when you die. Each one turns into runes only when you use it, so you can crack a few before a shop visit or a level, and keep the rest in your inventory. It is the smaller climb next to Level 713, all stats 99, for a player who wants a good push rather than the cap.
No login: we hand them over in an online session. Send your in-game name and platform ID; on consoles online play needs PlayStation Plus or Game Pass Essential.
